Overview Isidro Guzman Jr., a Catalog Librarian, left his collection of Mexican American publications and papers to Special Collections and Archives at TAMU-CC in 1991. They include Texas Knights of Columbus Historical Commission records, the Hi-Fairnessee Girls Club publications and local newspapers dating from 1926-1975.
Overview Gabe Lozano was a business man and politician that spent his life working to improve Corpus Christi. He was active in a large spectrum of activities in the area and was the first Hispanic American Mayor of Corpus Christi. Son of pioneering local legend Vincente Lozano, Gabe was a pioneer himself; persistently pushing for causes he felt strongly about and helping transform Corpus Christi into the city it is today.
