Biographical / Historical

Alfonso Ramirez Gomez graduated from Stuby Pharmaceutical College in Macon, Georgia in 1920. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Corpus Christi General Assembly, served on the first board of directors of the Community Settlement House, and served as a democratic precinct chairman and election officer for 30 years. He married Teodorita Martinez on August 28, 1921, and the couple had two sons and a daughter.
