The Steve Grime Photograph Collection consists of 78 prints taken by Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi student Steve Grime in 1997. As part of his assignment in a photography class under Professor Barbra Riley, Grime photographed some of the more significant Corpus Christi landmarks to assist Special Collections and Archives in visually documenting the city’s built environment at that time. Grime's photos include such structures as the Harbor Bridge, the 1914 Nueces County Courthouse, Centennial House, the Howard E. Butt home on Ocean Drive, One Shoreline Plaza, Bonilla Plaza, Corpus Christi Cathedral, the Bluff Balustrade, the Coppini Sculpture, the Miradores, Wynn Seale Junior High School, two H-E-B food stores, and the Corpus Christi Seawall, as well as views of the Bayfront Marina and skyline.

These images were taken with a traditional 4”x 5” negative camera, thus giving the prints a high level of resolution.
