The collection is 187 photographs of black and white and color prints from an American solider during the Vietnam era. The photos include scenes of Japan, Korea, Hawaii, and Corpus Christi Bay Bridge. They include images of a floating Aircraft Maintenance Facility, Pearl Harbor, a USO show and other military personnel.

The photographs were left at Special Collections and Archives at TAMU-CC by an unknown TAMU-CC student during a night history class orientation. The student did not stay long enough to sign a donor form. He noted they were taken by a local service man, now deceased, traveling home to Corpus Christi from Vietnam in 1963.
