In December of 1990 Linnie Brooks Mills donated the deed and abstract to Rose Hill Cemetery, and the initial charter of the Rose Hill Park Cemetery Association, 1913-1957 to Special Collections and Archives at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.

Biographical/Historical
The Cemetery on Rose Hill Park was charted by the state of Texas and made as a modern cemetery to receive perpetual care in 1914. The Cemetery has hosted several regionally historic commemorated monuments such as a memorial to lives lost in a 1919 hurricane. Through the decades the price of perpetual care increased over the allotted funds.
