Abstract

This collection of papers focuses on Jovita Gonzalez Mireles’ early notes, and poems. Donated by Mireles’ husband’s cousin in 2000, it touches on the Mireles, Ramirez, and Hinojosa family’s tree and connections. Photographs, a scrapbook of poems from 1931 to 1933 written by Jovita Gonzalez Mireles and genealogy materials are included.

Biographical / Historical

Maria Lusia Hinojosa de Camacho was a cousin of Edmundo Eduardo Mireles, Jovita Gonzalez Mireles. Ms. De Camacho was born in 1936 when Edmundo and Jovita were in their thirties.
