This sub-series contains documents relating to individual organizations in which Dr. Hector P. Garcia took interest throughout the course of his professional and activism work. Prominent organizations documented in this sub-series are those which represented or served Latino communities in Texas and the United States as well as organizations local to Corpus Christi, Nueces County, and Texas more broadly. Individual files primarily contain an organization’s own publications, newspaper clippings about the organization, and other published sources.
