Sub-Series B: Garcia Family Records, 1910 - 2008

This sub-series contains information about members of Dr. Hector P. Garcia’s family. The records pertain to his wife, children, siblings, and several of his extended family. He kept correspondence, newspaper clippings, and other materials documenting the various accomplishments of his immediate to extended family members. This includes materials such as handwritten letters from his wife Wanda, cards from his daughters, and records of his son’s early death. He also kept documentation of the careers of his siblings and nephew, including public recognition of their accomplishments. There are images of various members of the Garcia family and of Dr. and Mrs. Garcia’s wedding and honeymoon located in Series XI: Photographs.
