Asa M. French Surveying Field Books

Abstract

Asa Milton French was a Corpus Christi area surveyor and engineer who surveyed much of Nueces County, Texas. He also commissioned the construction of his residence which exists today as the historic French-Galvan house. This collection consists of six of his field books filled with notes, figures, and drawings related to surveying.
