Abstract

This collection contains over a century of material from the Blucher Family; one of the first families to permanently settle in Corpus Christi around 1849. The Bluchers produced three generations of county surveyors, serving Corpus Christi and South Texas for over 100 years. Their legacy of public service helped shape the Coastal Bend into the thriving community that it is today.

Truan’s 1986 Governor for a Day event and his Block Captain Program, Vilma Luna campaign materials and election data (1993-2001), and the Forward Corpus Christi 2002 bond proposition campaign.
