Scope and Contents This collection contains oral histories recorded by students in HIST 5370: Oral History-Techniques and Practices taught by Dr. Laura Muñoz during fall semester 2017. The students interviewed people in the Corpus Christi area affected by Hurricane Harvey, which made landfall along the Gulf Coast at Rockport in August 2017. Transcriptions are also available.

Scott talked about leading the initial and subsequent emergency response operations prior to and following Hurricane Harvey, including search and rescue, force protection, perimeter security, and general law enforcement operations.
