Content Description This collection consists of a partial 1967 letter from a mother to her son while he was a student at the University of Corpus Christi and three unrelated black and white photographs. A 1940 photograph is of a woman sitting on the beach in a bathing suit. A 1930s-1940s era photograph is of a woman holding a puppy. A 1909 photograph is of a band playing. Gross collection consists of stock certificates for Texas Land and Title Company and Guaranty Title Company, and a book containing list of stockholders, meeting minutes, and bylaws of the Texas Land and Title Company as well as postcards. Some of the postcards show the damage done to Corpus Christi by a storm that came ashore on the Texas Gulf Coast in its vicinity on September 14, 1919. They depict the Naval Air Technical Training Center Ward Island and its personnel, the aftermath of the Texas City disaster, and Buccaneer Days.
