He complains of “Negroes” stealing the rails off of the railroad tracks, of general sickness in the camp, and the fact that his mare is now lame. Envelope addressed to “Mrs. Callie Badger, Gonzales, Texas,” in left bottom corner- “Kinship of Mrs. Major Willis”.

Scope and Contents Waul’s Legion is staying with a Southern planter named Davis. Brandt has sold his shotgun for $70 and brought a rifle. He had drawn a picture of himself at the bottom of the page. Envelope addressed to “Mrs. Callie Badger, Gonzales, Texas,” and in the right upper corner a note “Mr. Brandt Badger, Parris, Lamar Co., Tex.”
