Scope and Contents This collection contains oral histories recorded by students in HIST 5370: Oral History-Techniques and Practices taught by Dr. Laura Muñoz during fall semester 2017. The students interviewed people in the Corpus Christi area affected by Hurricane Harvey, which made landfall along the Gulf Coast at Rockport in August 2017. Transcriptions are also available.
Scope and Contents Soundrecording and transcript of 22 minute 55 second oral history interview of Rosario Arambula conducted by Tabitha Adkins. Rosario talks about her experiences with Hurricane Harvey including evacuating and returning to Corpus Christi as well as volunteering with a group of friends in Gregory, Ingleside, and Aransas Pass.
