Charles talks about preparing for Hurricane Harvey, why he decided to ride out the storm and his experiences doing so, and the experiences of his neighbors and pets. He also discusses the damage to his house and surrounding area including Aransas Pass, Texas and the toll the storm took on him psychologically.

Miyuki talks about the damage sustained to the library at University of Texas Marine Science Institute at Port Aransas, Texas during Hurricane Harvey. She compares the damage to that sustained by the Duke Marine Lab in Beaufort, N.C. in a previous hurricane. She wonders about the timeline for rebuilding.
