Abstract
Regent Emerita Guadalupe L. Rangel was appointed to the Texas A&M University System Board of Regents by Governor Ann Richards in 1993 for a six-year term. It was a highly transformative period for the Texas A & M University System during which the System was expanded, and all System rules and policies were changed. This collection contains oral histories recorded by students in HIST 5370: Oral History-Techniques and Practices taught by Dr. Laura Muñoz during fall semester 2017. The students interviewed people in the Corpus Christi area affected by Hurricane Harvey, which made landfall along the Gulf Coast at Rockport in August 2017. Transcriptions are also available.
